Grand Lunch Special and Awesome Soup Dumplings!

A friend recommended this place to me last week and I was far from disappointed. I've been working in Flatiron/Chelsea recently and there are so few good cheap restaurants that I'm overjoyed to discover new places to hit up! We trekked it 2 avenues and 2 blocks over to give Grand Sichuan a try. It was great, their lunch special is well priced and you get a soup or spring roll with your dish. We also shared a steamed pork bun and of course their speciality, soup dumplings!! They are very different than the dumplings at Joe's shanghai, for example... their soup isn't as heavy and oily but still very tasty! I am really excited to go back this week! I think I'l make it a weekly ritual, especially as the weather starts to cool down.
