As I approached this little Australian spot, I could hear the familiar sound of Brass Monkey playing from inside. I walked in to find two cute boys rocking out making homemade pies... hot boys, meat pies and Beastie Boys, I'm in heaven! The setup is super cute, a little bar off to the side with a little glass case showcasing all the pies, and a few little tables. It's really tiny so I'd imagine it gets quite busy. Neither my friend nor I had been there before, so we decided to "pie-out" and get two different pies and share. One was the breakfast pie and the other was the traditional meat pie. (we basically just ordered whatever cute boy said to) There were both really good. I think I'd have to say that the meat pie was tastier. We were too stuffed to try anything else out but I would have like to couple it up with a little colesloaw or greens. The prices are amazing, very cheap, pies are $5 and sausage rolls are $3, it's a rad spot, super casual and really sweet. I'd head back for a cozy snack again, and maybe to pick up that boy's number =)
